Shipping Policy and Return

 

Shipping Costs:

  • Regular Shipping: AU POST Regular with Signature on delivery for $9.50

  • Express Shipping: AU POST EXPRESS with Signature on delivery for $13.95

  • Free Shipping: Available for all orders over $199 with Regular Shipping (AU ONLY)

 

Important Notes:

  • Express Shipping does not guarantee same-day shipment; it simply provides faster shipping.

  • All parcels are insured for up to $100 for loss. For additional coverage, please contact info@mekebaby.com.au for a quote.

  • Meke Baby is responsible for timely shipping, but once the order leaves our warehouse, we cannot be held accountable for lost or delayed items. We will work with AU POST to resolve any issues.

  • If you select "no signature on delivery," Meke Baby is not responsible for any lost or missing parcels.

  • Shipping promotions apply to Australian orders only.

 

Return & Exchange Policy

General Fault Policy:

  • For purchases made via our online store:

    1. Faulty or Damaged Products:

      • If you receive a faulty or damaged product, please contact info@mekebaby.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order.

      • Refunds or exchanges will be processed once we assess the product's condition.

    2. Used Products:

      • We do not accept returns or exchanges for used products unless the product is faulty or damaged.

      • This is in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Please contact info@mekebaby.com.au if you have concerns.

  • For purchases made externally (e.g., in-store):

    1. Faulty or Damaged Products:

      • Please reach out to the store where the product was purchased. The solution will be based on that store's return policy.

    2. Used Products:

      • We do not accept returns or exchanges for used products purchased externally.

      • Please contact the store where the product was purchased for assistance.

Change of Mind:

  • We do not accept returns for change of mind. Please ensure you are confident in your purchase before finalizing your order.

Australian Consumer Law Rights:

  • Under Australian Consumer Law, you have additional rights for a replacement, repair, or refund in case of a major failure or if the product is not of acceptable quality.

  • If you return a product under ACL, you may be entitled to a refund of return delivery costs if your claim meets the requirements of ACL.

 

Warranty Overview

What the Warranty Covers:

  • Meke Baby warmers are made using high-quality components and materials. We provide a warranty to cover any manufacturing faults within the warranty period.

  • The warranty covers repairs, replacements, or the supply of equivalent goods for any defects or faults in materials or workmanship.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • The warranty does not cover damages caused by:

    • Mould caused by improper cleaning or failure to follow the care instructions.

    • Battery decline resulting from improper charging practices (e.g., frequent overcharging or complete discharge).

    • Physical damage that is not reported within 7 days of receiving the product.

    • Chemical substances (including cleaning products) applied to the product.

    • Hard impacts or abrasive materials causing physical damage.

    • Ordinary wear and tear.

Lithium Battery Warranty & Care

Battery Performance:

  • Meke Baby warmers contain rechargeable lithium batteries that degrade over time, which is normal wear and tear.

  • Battery performance may decline with age and usage. This is not covered under warranty unless it's a manufacturing fault within the warranty period.

Battery Care Recommendations:

  • Avoid draining the battery to 0% regularly.

  • Recharge when the battery level drops below 30%.

  • Use the original charging cable and adapter.

Warranty for Battery Issues:

  • Report any battery-related issues, including broken buttons, within 30 days of receiving the product.

  • Inspect your product immediately upon arrival and report any concerns within the required timeframe.

Cosmetic Damage & Shipping-Related Wear:

  • Any cosmetic issues like scuffs must be reported within 7 days of receiving the product. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

  • Damage to packaging during shipping is not covered by warranty. However, if functional damage occurs, please report immediately with photographic evidence.
