“Is this for breastfeeding or pumping?”

Both. It’s designed for mums who are breastfeeding, expressing, or doing a combination of both. Each product supports a different part of the routine — from storing and transporting expressed milk to warming feeds and supporting breastfeeding comfort.

“Do I actually need all of this?”

Not necessarily — but the bundle means you don’t have to build your feeding setup piece by piece. It brings together the essentials for expressing, storing, transporting and warming breastmilk, plus SOOTHE to support mum along the way.

“Can I use this from the newborn stage?”

Yes. The Express 2.0 has no minimum feed volume, making it ideal for the newborn stage when expressed milk volumes can vary from one feed to the next.

“How do I keep my breastmilk cold when I’m out?”

Freeze the supplied ice packs fully before use, then position them around your milk pouches inside the Chiller Bag. Keep the bag zipped and minimise opening to help maintain a cool temperature. Breastmilk should be kept at 5°C or lower where possible.

“Can the milk pouches go in the fridge and freezer?”

Yes. The reusable silicone pouches are designed for both fridge and freezer storage and can be stored flat or upright depending on your setup.

“What is SOOTHE used for?”

SOOTHE provides reusable hot and cold breast therapy. Use warm therapy before or during feeding to support milk flow, or cold therapy after feeding to help relieve swelling, engorgement and general breastfeeding discomfort.

“Is this a good baby shower or new mum gift?”

Yes. Rather than another product just for baby, Breastfeeding Essentials has been designed to support both mum and baby — making it a considered gift for someone planning to breastfeed or express.

Care & Use

MekeCHILL

Freeze the supplied ice packs fully before use and position them around your milk pouches for effective cooling. Keep the bag zipped closed and minimise opening to help maintain a cool temperature.

Keep breastmilk at 5°C or lower where possible and transfer milk to a refrigerator or freezer as soon as you reach your destination.

Wipe the Chiller Bag clean after use and allow to dry completely before storing.

MEKĖ Milk Storage Pouches
Wash thoroughly before first use and after each use. Follow the cleaning, sterilising, filling and storage instructions supplied with your MEKĖ Milk Storage Pouches.

MEKĖ SOOTHE
For cold therapy, chill SOOTHE before use and apply to the breast as directed for cooling relief.

For warm therapy, heat according to the supplied instructions before applying. Always check the temperature before placing SOOTHE against the skin.

Clean after use according to the product instructions and allow to dry completely before storing.

MEKĖ Express
Use, clean and care for your Express according to the instructions supplied with your warmer.

Breastmilk Storage

Freshly expressed breastmilk can be refrigerated at 5°C or lower for up to 72 hours.

Cooling performance may vary depending on the starting temperature of the milk, ambient temperature, condition of the ice packs, how full the Chiller Bag is and how often it is opened.
