General:

Use warmer to heat water or milk to desired temperature
Pour into Twist bottle
Twist to release formula (if using) and shake to prepare
Clean all components thoroughly after each use
Follow individual product care instructions for best performance
Store dry and assembled correctly between uses
Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembling

Cartridge Cleaning guide:

General cleaning advice for formula cartridge in Meke Twist. Do not exceed temperatures of 110 degrees Celsius for the cartridge and do not use sterilisers:

Place the formula cartridge in an ON/OPEN position (as per label markings), wash with warm soapy water and use a soft sponge
Place inside a bowl of boiled kettle water that has cooled for 2mins. *Place safely away from children*
Leave the cartridge submerged and fully covered by the water for 5 to 10 minutes
Let it cool in the bowl until you can take it out with tongs or clean hands without scalding yourself
Allow the cartridge to cool and dry before twisting to the OFF/CLOSED position (as per label markings)
Store equipment you aren’t going to use straight away in a clean container in the fridge (according to best practice)

Some plastics can begin to degrade with frequent heating, potentially releasing microscopic particles, known as microplastics, into the liquid inside. While this is not always visible or immediate, it highlights an important consideration. How materials perform under real, repeated use. Choosing materials that remain stable under heat helps reduce this interaction, limit breakdown over time, and create a more controlled, consistent feeding process. It is not about adding complexity, but removing variables and supporting a routine that performs reliably, every day.
