“Do I still need to measure formula separately?”

No. Formula is pre-loaded into the cartridge, ready to be released when needed.

“Can I use this for breastmilk?”

Yes. The bottle can be used without the cartridge for expressed milk or mixed feeding.

“Is this hygienic?”

The enclosed cartridge reduces handling and exposure, supporting a more controlled preparation process.

“How is this different to a standard bottle?”

It removes the need for separate containers, scooping, and preparation — consolidating everything into one step.

“Is it only for on-the-go use?”

No. While designed for portability, it simplifies feeding at home as well.

General:

Fill the cartridge with pre-measured formula and keep sealed until use
Add pre-heated water to the bottle (as per feeding guidelines)
Twist to release formula and shake until fully mixed
Wash all components with warm soapy water after use
Do not exceed recommended temperatures for the cartridge (approx. 110°C)
Allow all parts to dry fully before reassembling

Cartridge Cleaning guide:

General cleaning advice for formula cartridge in Meke Twist. Do not exceed temperatures of 110 degrees Celsius for the cartridge and do not use sterilisers:

Place the formula cartridge in an ON/OPEN position (as per label markings), wash with warm soapy water and use a soft sponge
Place inside a bowl of boiled kettle water that has cooled for 2mins. *Place safely away from children*
Leave the cartridge submerged and fully covered by the water for 5 to 10 minutes
Let it cool in the bowl until you can take it out with tongs or clean hands without scalding yourself
Allow the cartridge to cool and dry before twisting to the OFF/CLOSED position (as per label markings)
Store equipment you aren’t going to use straight away in a clean container in the fridge (according to best practice)
